Been a long time since I've had to do this but how do you find the length of a round port with bends? I forgot how the bends get calculated
The way I would calculate is measure the outer and inner lengths. Add them and divide by 2.Been a long time since I've had to do this but how do you find the length of a round port with bends? I forgot how the bends get calculated
Is it a single 12? 4 inch ports work fine for 12s. I had this box in my SUV for a while with a few different subs ranging from 500 watts to 1500 watts and they all did fine with the 4 inch flared port.Just needed a port about 25" long for a 6" port, but I could drop down to a 4" port then it's only 10.5" long
That is a SWEET AZZED Enclosure!!! Beaut! Is it a single 12? 4 inch ports work fine for 12s. I had this box in my SUV for a while with a few different subs ranging from 500 watts to 1500 watts and they all did fine with the 4 inch flared port.

Assuming you are using a 90 degree bend, just measure the length from the middle of the tubes opening to the point of intersection and then to the other end of the bend.
