well i like the mtx thunder amps, ta7801. at 1 ohm its 1200. might be able to get it on ebay for that much

What impedence are you needing to run at? 2 ohms? 1 ohm?

lanzar 1800d can be had for around 200 new, less used. the lanzar hg2600d as well. MA audio has a few amps that do 1000wrms around 200 as well

probably hard to find a true 1000w rms amps for that. alot of amps may claim to be that but its highly doubtful that they are. may be able to get a decent used amp on ebay that does that for under 200. if its a new amp that says it does that and its under 200 bucks its probably too good 2 be true. here is a tip, F the numbers. you get what you pay for. go for a good used quality amp. if you have 2 4ohm subs go with a good monoblock. or 2ch if there dual 4ohm. i picked up a couple bnib crossfire vr401 and vr602 on ebay for 120 each for the 401s and like 150 for the 602. the 401 runs a pair of cvr 12s wired at a 2ohm load in a ported box to their fullest. cant beat it for the money. here is the link to the 401 http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-CROSSFIRE-VR401-OVER-500-WATTS-RMS-FREE-SHIPPING_W0QQitemZ160177902846QQihZ006QQcategoryZ39732QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and here is for the 602 http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-CROSSFIRE-VR602-OVER-700-WATTS-RMS-JL-Audio_W0QQitemZ160175649942QQihZ006QQcategoryZ39732QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. i have bought a few things from him and have all been great and he ships fast.

I got a crossfire vr1000d about 6 months ago for 260 cdn, back when our dollar was much lower than yours and it puts out lots of power. 1000 @1 measured at 12.5 volts iirc. Thats about 1200w at 14 volts. I would recomend it. You should be able to find one in your price range and are better than hifonics

I went through Ubid.com to get my Kicker ZXX1000.1 and im getting 1129 watts at the birth sheet. I got the amp for 220.

Ebay is also an amazing place.

If you could settle for 930 watts the ZX750.1 puts out from 9-930 watts as well. That one can be had under 200.

if u run ur sub at 4 ohm then for sure go for alpine MRV1507,believe me no amp in this price will reach near the quality on it.it will give u 4ohm 900rms X1 bridged at 14volts and its way way under rated power which means it will do 1000RMS at 4ohms.find it on ebay and check review at carreview.com

And how many subs are run at 4 ohms?

2subs dual 4ohm can be driven easily by MRV 1507 at 4ohm load and the quality is always bettet running at more ohms.

First off, you dont know what his subs are, nor how many or even what the hell he wants it for.

Second, you wont notice a difference in the impedence. It wont tax your electrical as much, but off 1000 watts its not going to matter.

Third, you have a hifonics cap.

Hey thanks for all the suggestions.. Ive kind of been thinking that maybe I should just spend an extra 50 bucks or so and get a kicker zx1000.1 refurbished amp.. does anyone know if these are efficient amps or not and if I would need another battery or not to power it?
