But you said you dont agree that it will hide more imperfections.

But you said it will hide pin holes which is an imperfection. I know it wont hide a 2 inch dip, but I am assuming that someone that is doing this job knows not to have a 2 inch dip.

The main imperfections on a fiberglass paint job is pinholes and swirls from not enough sanding, something you can barely feel, yet shines through the paint. Vinyl will cover any visible inmperfection that would shine through the paint.

ever seen a painted fiberglass encloure look wavy ? Think vinyl covering won't look just as wavy ? My point was and still is , there is no susbstitue for proper finish work. Indeed.

As long as everything is smoothed out and uniform... (With only 80grit)... Vinyl works GREAT.
