Some friends suggested I get the area behind the tires PAINTED, but I thought it was a stupid idea. Is there anything I can clean it with to make it look nice? It quickly blackens any sponge I try to clean it with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i want more pics of your car w/ the rims n such...never did see em'

If thats the best thing that can be said for a given setup "it rattles everything"- //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

We have an 84 cutlass with 6 15" crossfire BMFs. CRAZY loud. hah. ALL IN THE TRUNK TOO!

Kinda hi-jacked the thread.

Best option is elbow-grease. Serious cleaning once a week will get it right. try brake pads with a low risk of dust... like some Hawks, or EBC green stuffs.

Those help out.

Hm. I'm going to say 6-7 hrs. Can't say for sure, never driven it.

Let me know ahead of time, I can have some interesting things here.

An Avalanche with 4 12" Kicker Solobarics in a custom built midgate. Yes. IN THE MIDGATE.

And a bunch of cars/trucks on 6's and 8's. Hah.

Looks like I'm gonna ask Maaco to paint under there when I bring the car in for suicide doors or something.

you need a mild de-greaser kind of like the spray on engine de-greaser spray it on and pretty much just hose it off. trust me i detailed cars for about 6 months last year

I use to detail cars and we used a strong degreaser to clean the well out, but after that 9 times outta 10 we spray painted it black. No real easy way to keep the wheel wells clean, having it painted might actually be a good idea if you have the money to do it with, but you would most likely have to get alot of coats of paint applied due to rocks and stuff like that from the roadway.

This may be a longshot but its an idea...

I own 04 Mercedes Benz and inside the wheel wells it is lined with some sort of outdoor carpet. Not only does it rinse clean, but it helps with road noise, rocks etc. as well. If you are really into your ride you may look into this type of application.

I have used Krud Kutter (availiable at Home Depot) full strength and it works well.

my 2 cents //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have some friends who put sound deadening on the inside and outside of the wheel wells and then covered it with spray on truck bed lining. He said all he does is rinse the wheel well and it keeps it looking clean
