Ok I want to tune my box as accurate as possible but need to know what the displacment is of two 4" aero ports 11.5"s in length. Here is what I know so far.

Box dimensions 34 w x 12 h x 26 d. 3/4 MDF = 4.83. after subs displacment (3 10" .15 each) = 4.38

I'm adding two 4" aero's and want to tune the box to 33htz. Are my aero calculations correct?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Nevermind I was able to find the formula.

2x2x3.14 x10(port length) = 128.6 / 1728(convert to cubic inches) =. 072x2(2 ports)=0.145 is my port displacement with two 4" aeros cut to 10"s.

This will give me a tuning of 35htz with an overall size box of 4.23 left for air space.

thats not very much port area

I'd do 3, 4" ports, or 1 6" at a very minimum(and I'm talking true bellmouth'd ports here)

as for your displacement its close but you need to know the OD of the port, not the 4" ID.

I'm using 1x 6" aero on my 3.3 net cube box

a single 6" is ~28.25" square

a 4" is 12.5" square so 2 would be 25" square

for correct flared aeros 5" per cube is pretty much the lowest you want to go. Normally larger will give better scores. Also single ports are more efficient than multiples. Meaning if your running the lowest port area then I would deff stick to a single. Basically single 6" or 3x 4" is what would be recommended

Yep. Point A. The last 3/4 of an inch on the exit end of the port won’t count in the displacement though. Take 3/4 off your length. You also have...

Are you going to do actual aeroports with flares on both ends? I’m running a single 4 inch aeroport on my little 750 watt 12. It has flares on...

And you failed to mention airspace of the box or the sub and power you were running. In 89 most subs were extremely low xmax meaning very little...
