Others on here can give more in-depth responses, but here's basically what this is about:

sealed: Almost any subwoofer will work in a sealed box. The box should have not even a pinhole for air to leak out to have optimal performance. This gives the widest range of sound from the subwoofer, and generally it's the easiest and smallest option for all around good sounding bass. On the downside, it's not as loud.

ported: This generally means the sub is mounted to a chamber that has a single vent. The vent is how you change the performance of the box. Get it right and it will be noticeably louder and more efficient than a sealed box while still sounding very good. If you don't know how to design a ported box it's best to find someone else to do it right.

bandpass: This is a combination of a sealed box and a ported box. The loudest bass comes from a small pass band, or range of frequencies. Very situational, and your truck is not a good vehicle to fit this type of box.

There are several other types of boxes. You can browse some of the box design vendor forums on here to see what's popular.
