I installed my new alternator (200 amp from dbelectrical) I also did big 3. Since I installed it in my 2000 Lincoln LS I noticed when I rev my car to 1500-2000 rpm the lights brighten quite alot. after 2000 rpms they go back to normal. I always thought it was because the increase in amperage to my battery and intern my headlights in internal dials ( they do the same thing ) I have been driving a few months with it like this and no problems with failures. Its just that its almost so noticeble at night that i think someone is going to think i am signalling them to turn or something when at a 4 way stop. So I'm just wondering if i should bring it to canadian tire ( canadian ) to get my alt checked or battery ( its stock ) or if there is a small fix ( adding resister to headlight fuse or internal lights fuses ). Thanks!
