FVck me amd my quad 15's!

Here's what I got one egw15 and 3 pcw 15's. When I spoke to soundstream they told me the only difference was the pcw's are beefing up there rubber surround.

I think no problem. Anyways they said the didn't have any more EGw 15's but still sent me one anyway. So I look at the specs and come to find out

EG15X ---------- V.S. PCW 15

fs (hz) 30.62- - - - - 24.5

Vas (cu. Ft.) 3.588- - - - - 6.64

It looks like I'm either going to run three of these ported or run them all sealed unless I can find a master box builder to help with this delemma.

**** I don't even know which sub is better. Oh and they recomend sealed. Yeah right. I hit a 148 and some change porting it in the back of a monte calo with a 4 cubs before displacement with one of theses subs only getting 300 watts from a soundstrem rubicon 302.

JL amps are pretty amazing. I've yet to hear another 500 watt class D amp get systems as loud to the ear as some JL Audio 500/1 setups..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I gave up on the new SS long time ago, hell I can't even get a simple hat.

Well I ruled out JL just because of it's price and I found a rubicon 1000. I may as well seal it just up. I know It'll still be louder that I want and sound great doing it.

Well, I rulled out jl and I found a rubicon 1000 for sale that would work with these 15's sealed up. It'll still be loud and sound danm nice doing it.

I was pretty impressed of what the number I put up using only 300 @ 2 ohm in a trunk of my car. I ca assure myself I'll be hitting over 145 hopeully with 4 of the pcw's. They took the egx's out and replaced them with the pcws.
