Well i have two general questions for all you experts out there. The first one is can a 12" Solo Baric Square and box fit in a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire.

Second, how many watts of power would it take to push one of those?

First question Yes

Second anywhere from 300w-700w

Yes it will fit and I would think that 600 watts would sound pretty good.
