you dont need a cap, it's a band-aid to your power supply. You need to upgrade your alternator and get a good gel cell battery, and upgrade your factory wire pwr./and ground and you wont have any electrical problems with your system. All a capacitor does is smooth out your bass transient response on lower notes. If a cap is mounted more than 18" away from your bass amp it's not doing any good.

Where'd you get that patently false number? If that was really the case it would hold true for the battery and the alt as well. Your amps would have to go under the hood with the engine.

Listen to these guys they know what they are talking about. Caps ****. Get like 10-15ft of 1/0 wire, a couple of ring terminals and call it a day. ALso upgrade your stock battery, or add and 2nd battery, preferably kinetic because they are cheap and great batteries.

Big 3+ Kinetic Hc600= roughly about 150-200$ and that **** will do you better than a 1,000 farad cap
