HELP Pioneer AVH P2300DVD

I'm having trouble with the video aspect of my stereo. I can't seem to get videos to play either with the USB or a DVD and I even tried my ipod and the video still doesn't show. I checked the manual and I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct file type but it's just not working. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong??????

have you tried hitting the reset button to start over/clear it out to begin a new set up after installing? that may work

Did you install a parking brake bypass? Pioneer H/U's won't play dvds or any videos if the car isn't in park or have a bypass hooked up.
