All right so I got everything and ready to begin my installation. But did research n found out I might need to replace my stock 120 amp alt for high amp output alt. Ima be running AQ/SQ Q1-2200D @ 1 ohm with 1/0 gauge KnuKoncept OFC, installing Big 3 w 1/0 gauge OFC, and brand new Interstate battery(lead acid). So my problem is dat I'm searching online for my car (2002 Acura TL-S) and can only find Non Type-S model HO alt. I don't want to buy and find out its not applicable to my car. If u can plz help tell me where I can find one for my car or if anyone has experience & knowledge of alternators can point me in a good direction as to:

1.) Were I can purchase RIGHT alt for my Type-S model??

2.) Is there a difference between Type-S & base model alternators?? They look identical!!!

Any help or info will be greatly appreciated and thanks for everyone who helped me narrow down all my parts for my set up.

Thank you
