Well you could make a custom mounting bracket with some abs plastic. Or you might check metra and see if they make a kit for your automobile. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The epic 150 is the little half din unit isn't it ?

Yes the epic 150 is a half din unit . I found this on scosche's web site http://www.scosche.com/scosche/installation/kits/GM1484.asp , but I can not seem to find a place that sells that one . Sound domain had everyone except the one I need and all the other places I found just linked you to scosche's web site .

I believe wal mart of all places sells scosche installation kits. Also check out http://partsexpress.com they have alot of different installation kits too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Wal mart //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif ? How about that . They are the last place I would have thought to look . This is what I found at parts express http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&User_ID=6191482&St=9793&St2=-49701016&St3=60845890&DS_ID=3&Product_ID=6644&DID=7 It is kinda hard to tell if this would work from the pic .

Yep that's the ticket //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I used that same kit in my S-10 with the din and a half radio. Worked wonderfully.

Thanks for the info ramos //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . I got another question for you . I was reading over the intructions that came with it and it says for the power and ground connections to go directly to the battery . I thought I would be able to use the power and ground wires in the wiring harnes for my head unit . Is this a bad idea ?

You can but you run the risk of overloading the circuit for the head unit depending on the gauge of the wire used. Which I would be willing to bet is pretty small. I usually run a seperate circuit you don't need that large of a gauge wire for it. To me it's just safer and less of a chance to induce noise. As for ground any place behind your head unit that is metal. Just scrape away any paint and use a screw to hold it securely. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ramos after I got done installing everything I noticed that the epic 150 was staying on and not shuting off . I think I may have hooked the remote lead up wrong ? I tapped into the remote for my amp . Was this the wrong thing to do ? Also in the wiring harnes for my radio how can I tell which wire is for the remote . I did not install my first amp someone else did and they used a spot in the distrubution block (I think that is what it is) that is under the dash mounted on the firewall for the remote . I would like to do it the correct way . Any suggestions ?

P.S.

Sorry for the long post //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
