i put mine in the top left corner of the windshield. that worked out pretty good for me.

compustar 2wss the best out period as far as range, and the ast high end model next but not the same quality as the compustar one. they actuall advertise a mile and a half for the

2wss system but i dont think it gets quite that range but i must say i use one and install them and they have the longest range by far of anything out there.
