i have a 2003 chev tracker with the 2.0L 4cyl

i know my stock alt is 70amp

where can i see if another cars alt will fit my tracker???

i am looking for a HO alt round 175> range

an alt shop near me said that they can rebuild mine to 110 amp or if i want to go higher then i will need a different case and custom brackets to be made which then i can go up to 330 amp.

my system is 1500rms for subs and 200rms for the other speakers.

so i am thinking

1700rms/14.4volts=118 amps plus the normal draw of the car 50amp-ish so 170 amps

As long as the pin style for the alt hookup are the same and the engine is the same it should match up. I would hit up excessive amperage and see what they can do for a 200A alt.

Dayton would be a really nice choice as well as the SQL. I would look at a R. Sounds sub too https://www.resilientsounds.com/product-page/gold-15...

For a sub that small.. Id like to see an 8 or 6.5 @ around 55-70 htz usually sound pretty nice and clean on approx 40-100 rms @ 4 ohms. 8 ohms I...
