How to hook up an Ipod to HU

Ok im planning on hardwiring my ipod to my HU...my headunit is a pioneer DEH-P3600...i just want to know if someone knows if this will work for a hardwire connection and what exactly will i need

Sorry if this is in wrong section didnt know what one to post it in

If you have multiple amps you do not need to run a power wire from each amp to battery.. You can have a single run of wire with a distribution...

Ill be wiring my next one up at the amps battery bank area and run it to the dash to keep an eye on it
