Well guy's heres an update. Not much of an update though im just waiting for my starter battery to come in mail which will be a Stinger spv70. Next thing i will be modding batt tray probably to fit spv70 and then making a 2nd batt tray off driver side fender for dc sound labs 2k batt.

yeah should take your time and i only double layered the panels which i thought would vibrate more. I used a heat gun to help it stick more and curve nicely on the round spots. The smell doesnt stay for long though so dont worry about it too much, I had mine air out for a weekend but only because I have a second car to use daily, but even if you put your carpet in it should go away in a few days.

Oh trust me I am going to be taking my time. I am just thinking of doing the whole car and laying down the fatmat on the floor of the trunk and the rest of the car. I heard horrible stories as of late if you put FatMat in the doors or anywhere verticle you are playing odds man out cause eventually it will fall off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif So will use what I can on the floors and probably sell the rest. Gonna order some Raamat for the doors and anywhere I may go verticle as I have heard nothing but good things. Also will make sure to clean good and use a heat gun when needesd. Thanx!

Alright guy's got another update i went and trimmed off the pieces that were not needed off the door/molding along it so look's alot cleaner and doesn't hang out of when the door panel is on. Next will be waiting for spv70 stinger batt , Bumpin buick (who is a real good guy) shipped em out 2day to everyone on early list so hopefully will be here soon.

Well man if that DLS doesn't power subs enough i might actually sell it off. or trade it for a more powerful amp.

Update: March 11 , 2008 (afternoon)

Well guy's here's another update 2morro friend of mine that work's for a custom shop has a huge contract with alpine and can get stuff real cheap . so im gonna see if he can hook me up with a alpin 9887 plus i also worked down for em all 3 days down at autorama. and he said i ever need a favor to let em know since i helped him out. other then that last night me and my friend trimmed down all my extra sound deadner and Second skin overkil pro off the doors that was hangn off to far and also on the rear hatch. But other then those two thing's not to much going on waiting on my stinger spv70 battery & then put that in. it's actually kinda nice out today here in michigan maybe this is a sign of spring finally coming here.

Everything looks good.. that DLS A3 is a sexsi bish! It is pretty nice out isn't it? I think I'm going to go vacuum out the TB.

Not to be rude or anything but....if your doing all that work why not run new lines for the speakers into the door with some nice gauge wiring from your source unit.
