I monoprice RCA jacks and speaker wire anygood?

not bad depending on what you need

the speaker wire is actually quite good especially at that price

that rca cable is just a single meant for hometheater but would do fine in a car

awesome man thanks for the post. I am fixing to get all 6 RCA cable and maybe get there speaker wire I wasn't sure if this is good or not.

question I like to ask what do you mean depending on what I need? I am going to used the speaker wire for four JL 6w3v3 subs and 2 8w3v3 sub is 12 awg good enough?

I just used both in my install and the quality of each was very good. My RCAs were the L/R style instead of the single but I'm sure the build quality is the same for their cables. The price is what got me to buy.

I used the rca's in my install. very nice, great shielding. Completely got rid of the noise issues I was having with my other expensive name brand rca's.

yup the shielding is very good in them

I usually buy all my HT stuff from them just for that 1 reason lol

and 12G speaker wire is Overkill //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif it will be just fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Allrighty. I gues I go with a 10 awg?

no no no I was saying 12G is overkill that means it is way more than enough lol

alot of people only need 16G for mids and 12g for subs..

when you start pushing lots of power then you of course need bigger wire but in your case you won't

by overkill he means 12g is more than enough..... 10g is even bigger & more of an overkill....stick with 14-16g imo
I know I was playing with him.

So 16 awg it is then. for the both 8" sub they only need mabe 4 ft of it. think I sould get a 14 awg for sub? or they will work with the 16 awg

that small of a sub on that little power I would use 16 or 14 but that is just me...

it is more than safe if you understand how much current the wire is truly capabale of and rated for.

I have 12 guage on 2000 watts with no issue... others with the same setup would preach 8 guage but it is overkill..
