Ideas for 2 e8's in a s10 ported or sealed?

Well I am gonna build a box for my buddy at work. We are putting 2 sundown e8's in it. Now my dilemma is sealed or ported. He only has a lil mtx 800 amp for now but will be upgrading in the future. Max dimensions are 47 wide 16 tall 10 wide at bottom and 4 wide at top. With a 2" port this comes to around 1.4 cubes tuned to 35 hz(which i will have to play with to get the tuning down. But should I maybe go sealed or would this be ok?

I think .6-.75 per would be fine ported.

Thats a lil big. Id go 1.2 Cube tuned to 32. I had my E8s in anything ranging from .30 per to .80 per and from 30hz to 35hz and that is the sweet spot from my testing.

ok well thats before sub disp but hell it wouldnt take much away. This will be my first slant box build so should be interesting. Also i just got a brad nailer so no more waiting on clamps. Only prob is if i alter the numbers a bit the tuning goes way high. Also I figured the 2" port was tiny but i guess it would be ok. Im wantin to make this sucker loud. Im tradin the build for a pistol grip mossberg 12 gauge. Should be a nice trade lol. Ill play with the dimensions and try to get tuning down

1.2 before displacment will be fine. Brad nails are uesless. USe screws.

this is also true. I used a 4" flared.

brads dont work? I've used staples before with great results. Fugires 2" brads would work also as many on here use them. Had though about a aero port but then i gosta buy them im tryin to be cheap lol but may consider it since they are like 20. My gun shoots staples also so may go get some of them to, harbour freight ftq. I use screws also but hate predrilling and splitting wood.

Ok here is the plan 49" wide 16" tall 10" deep at bottom 5" deep at top with a 2" port. With a 34" long port wall 2 i get 1.6 cubes tuned to 31.6. Should be ready to wang pretty hard I imagine. Now I get to have fun cutting the panels at the angle never done a slot port re says cut at 70.9 so yea...

All panels should have an angled cut, Except probably the "back".

It's pretty easy you could down fire the subs with port facing up I've had good luck with that in single cabs

do u have a table saw? thatd b best for doing angled cuts.
