I am looking at speakers an I hear Boston Accoustics are better than lets say alpine type s for example yet ba puts out 40 rms and alpine 80rms but people say basquality is better and true rms wattage where as alpines is not is this true.
apparently it "holds" it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifA speaker doesnt "put out" an rms of anything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
I assume u mean 100hz.. Cause a mid crossed at 1k is well leaving alot of unplayed freq.theres alot of variables when it comes to that..I used to have diamond audio hex s600, they were rated 150 rms, now I have arc audo fd5ks,
Both got 200 rms, both sounded great. Difference was midbass and xover. If you set your hpf at around 1,00hz you can usually run more power to a speaker.
