hey my friend says that my amps going to start on fire. i have the power running from the batterie threw the car like normal and then i have the remote wire going to the factory amp in the back by my 6 disk in the back. and the ground to a bolt like normal. he says that the power and remote wire are going to cause a fire. I am not sure if he is just messing with me or not (im new to car audio). would just like to know if thats okay. the wires are not crossing each other at all.

thanks

Have you fused the main power wire close to the battery?
Dude... You're both named Mike!

but anyways, You should be okay as long as you're fused next to the battery on the power wire like mikeR previously stated.

My brain hurts just looking at those diagrams. It's late so if anyone sees a problem with either of those, please feel free to chime in!

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
