Lack of lows?

I have a 1.12 cube box tuned at 30hz with a 3 inch flared precision port for 2 8inch subs.

It sounds good on higher freqs. but the low end is lacking.

Do you guys think the port is to small for low end. I have tried it tuning at 30hz and 38hz with not much change.

Maybe I should try a 4 inch port?

Tantric LD 8's 1000rms sub sonic is just a switch (Rockford T1000)

Might be getting port compression. Definitely try a bigger port

That's what i was about to say, 1.12 cubes is kinda small for 2 8's to start with.

rule of thumb for aero ports is 9 to 12 sq in of port area per, fix your box thats the problem
