These have the amp built into them so no one ever removes them and they are necessary for an IS300. $380 from the dealer and NO ONE else can sell them except Lexus. It is currently also on ebay so may sell at any time.

These are very hard to come across.

$150 shipped

There's only one roof antenna for the IS300. There are no variables. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif This is everything, base + mast with built in amp.

Question and free bump!

I have an IS 300 and feel that the radio reception is not that great at times (compared to previous cars I've driven - bmw 325 and audi a4) and was wondering if that's because of the antenna, or my car or what?

And if there's an inexpensive way to boost the reception (like wrapping aluminium wire around it;)

Unlikely the antenna connection is compatible, and even worse - they are awful. They are the worst sound quality of any car audio component...

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
