I was wondering if i would find the max output of my amp without clamping it? I would do this by measuring the AC voltage on the speaker terminals of the amp along with this formula..... voltage = sqrt( watts X ohms). By Using a 60hz tone -6db, couldn't i find my voltage at max gain, with bass boost turned all the way down, then fill in the ohms, with the resistance of the subs, and then solve for watts?
