Anybody here do side work I need 3" pods glassed into my window windshield pillars.

I want to stage my 3 way 6.5 components up on my pillars.

Any recommendation? I could send them out !

Or does any one make a universal dash style that can angle a 3" pod facing drive /passenger either dash mount or pillar mount .

Sorta something talking like the extra angle cups that morel audio gives for they're tweets.

These show tweeter pods but you can do the exact same thing with 3 inch pvc endcaps.

Cheap, adjustable, easily replaceable tweeter pods - Car Audio | DiyMobileAudio.com | Car Stereo Forum

will literally save you hundreds and get great results.

This is a good Twitter idea but can this be also done with a 4" and cap and get good acoustical highs or mids with little to no air space inside these caps?
4 inch mids usually are crossed a lot higher than 150hz so it doesn't matter too much on the airspace at all. Of course i'd do an extra step of some polyfill to absorb some rear wave but unless you want your 4 inch to play deep midbass, I would not worry about airspace at all.
