Need help fast! 2 Ohm and 4 Ohm subs

I can get a pair of alpine type R's for real cheap right now. The problem is one is a 2 Ohm sub and the other is a 4 Ohm. Is there anyway i will be able to use both of these? They will be hooked up to a kicker kx1000. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No... Just use the Dual 4 ohm on the KX. it should be able to take it.

The 4 Ohm would be a better choice than the 2? I thought 2 Ohms could handle more power?

if your amp is a zx1000.1 you want the dual 4 ohm sub, if its a kx1200.1 you want the dual 2 ohm sub. One sub isnt better than the other it all depends on the amp your running and where it makes its most power

not if u wire the 4-ohm sub to 1-ohm. The 4-ohm sub will be louder then the 2-ohm sub

To bad you can't wire a 4ohm sub to 1ohm.

The KX series is 1-ohm stable so if you run the dual 2-ohm sub in parallel, you will be running at a 1 ohm load. If you run the Dual 4-ohm sub, you will be running at a 2-ohm load. This is why the Dual 2-ohm sub is "louder." If you plan on running two subs, you will need to get 2 dual 4-ohm subs to get a 1-ohm load. Hope this help.
