Upgrading headunit to one from my gfs car, have no experience with wiring, dont know what kind of adapter i need or if it needs to be rewired, have the adapter for the toyota, also looks like the wires in the centre console were chopped off to fit an adapter for the old headunit which was a pioneer, new head unit is a kenwood DPX-M3200B. Can i buy an adapter for the old adapter or will i need to get a factory harness and rewire it up? would buying a new pioneer headunit be an option. Sorry im really new to this kind of stuff but also very keen to learn thanks.

Try again on the attachments/pictures. They didn't load.

Not exactly sure on the wiring, but you can buy an adapter harness that goes from your factory harness plug to the radio harness plug. It has both plug styles to match up, and you just line up the pins and move em around if needed. Find that based on the vehicle, $5-$10.
