Need Help With a mach 460 sound system Please!

I have a 1998 mustang gt with the 460 mach system. I installed a different head unit, and it work only with the care turned in the on position. Also, the rear deck doesn't have any base (sound only comes from the tweeters) I heard it has been done, but others say it cannot be done.

Sounds like the stock amps not working

Are they coming on ? If so its in your wiring. Wire the speakers direct with new wiring

They Are not coming on Its just the 4 tweeters

If the amps aren't coming on. Then you need to run a new remote wire I'd bet

Yes they are

Let me correct my post..

I had a taurus with the mach 460 and it did not have an amp.

The amp looking thing in the trunk is the actual headunit and the front is just the display pretty much.

And if it did have an amp then this is why you think you have 2 amps.

The only way to get bass and correct the issue is to directly wire the speakers to your new headunit or add an amp and use crossovers.

The mach 460 will need a clean sweep to get any bass if thats what you want, but it still will be weak.
