slick rick- if you have the 8ohm subs call

the subs sub#1 and sub#2 take the positive and

minus of sub #1 and wire it to the positive and

minus of sub#2 both subs are now in a 4ohm load

now take the positive and negative of your

bridge amp and wire it to sub#1 positive and minus

only. if you are planning to buy 4ohm subs

make sure your amp is stable into 2ohm bridge/mono. because

wiring both 4ohm subs in parallel (meaning

plus to plus and minus to minus will present a

2ohm load two your amp) so make sure your amp is

stable into a 2ohm bridge/mono load

will bridging the amp make it n e better considering the bridged powr is the same as the channeled power, id like 2 just take out the old pioneers and pop in the new kicker comps 10's, i hae circuit city install my amp and subs, so i figure i can just put in the new subs myself.

slick rick--what kind of amp do you have.

and what is the power rating at 4ohm bridge/mono

some better built amps will double there stereo channel

power into a bridge load. ( for example)

precision power pcx 2200

200x2 into 4ohm stereo

400x2 into 2ohms stereo

800x1 into 4ohm bridge/mono

did you also buy a sub box with speakers from circuit city

(meaning factory made) example mtx, jlaudio, etc

you might void the warranty if you remove the subs

from the box. check with circuit city first.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

its ok. i have an mtx thunder 102

heres the stats:

rms- 25x2 @ 4 ohms

50x2@ 2 ohms

100 watts bridged@4 ohms

dynamic power(peak)-

65x2@ 4 ohms

125x2@ 2 ohms

250 watts brdiged @ 4 ohms

i really dont feel like bridging it, but if it will make it sound better, than i will. i wana put in 2 kicker comp 10's, and i hope the amp is good enough. and do they make non free-air models, cuz all i seem 2 find is free air models. the vox i have and subs r not from circuity city, i just had em installed there. n e advice is welcome.

Yeah, if you haven't bought em yet, then get a matching third sub. I would wire them to 1.3ohm, unless for some reason, you have some really...
