I am about to install an alarm on my 2002 trailblazer and already know what alarm I want, but I have a question about the pass lock interfaces. What are the diffecences in these interfaces, and what would you recommend for my car?

PLDATA

GMDL1

DEI 455G

DEI 555L

If there are any other interfaces that may be better, please let me know.

So far these are the interfaces that I have found. If you have installed an alarm in a car that required one of these interfaces, which one did you chose and why?

The alarm I am getting is a viper 791xv if that helps any.

Nevermind, I went to the12volt and found the best interface for my car.

DEI 455G - it's made specially for trailblazers and envoys

(plus its cheaper than some of the others)

You need a 455G or something like it for the locks and factory alarm disarm, but it doesn't do Passlock. You still need an additional module for remote start.
