They will take a bit more power for sure, clean is the key.

it should do ok with 500 based on mms is 226 and 89db, 500 will move it 750 be better, idk about sealed but ported probably be decent loud, until u can get amp like or similar 930 @2ohm 1162@1ohm., but this sub take small sealed box so if u using 1.8 cf (i think u said) 500 should move it real well
My biggest worry with too much power is my alt. A HO alt that is reputable is around $450 for a 240 amps. That adds to this car audio expenses drastically. I mean, Singer did say he could do monthly installments as it is being built, but still.
what car u have? i have a 04 grand prix with factory advance alt, no big 3 wires and 13 yr old thin 4ga...

my alt is 125 but if u stay below 1k and set gain pretty low u should be fine.. i did just get agm alt but my batt was old and didn't wanta get stuck ina parking lot this summer so got it while advance had sale (maybe still have 25% off rest of week)

how big is 4 channel? u have it already? if u have 4-600rms 4 channel + sub amp u won't be about to go up much with out upgrading some stuff.. u in same boat i was in few months ago and i still don't have amp on speakers and i don't think i need one, if hu is good and your speakers are efficent with just 1 sub espeially if u going sealed u shouldn't need amp on mids but look at that later, get sub & amp u have see how mids are, i got bigger amp and mine are fine and thats with ported 12 930rms..
