There's some scratches on the volume knob, and a few tiny knicks here or there. the screen area is in good condition, check the pics and video. I decided to shoot video showing alot of the background animations since I know faceplate display pimpness is a deal maker or deal breaker for most....and this is certainly pimp in that department.

sometimes the ipod adapter will come up for like 25-30 bucks, good investment if you already have an ipod. otherwise you're looking at another 50-60 on an 8gig nano. Ipod/sub is a wonderful thing, dont leave home without it.

the thing i like the most about this is that is has spectrum analyzer. a very helpful tool in keeping tabs on over driven levels, helps prevent clipping.

being able to switch betwen that and pimp bacgrounds is nice. im tempted to try it out in my car for a few days and see if I like it over my alpine....Alpine has USB though, and id eventually need to get the usb adapter or ipod adaper for the pioneer if i kept it. those adapter can be found cheap enough if you search craigslist nationwide and find someone willing to ship.

the p980 is a bluetooth model and this model isn't... still thinking about that trade BassAddictJ. Only thing holding me back is getting rid of that eq b.c. Im starting to want to keep it now
