this is my box I'm getting yelled at for buying but since ya'll recommending prefab it says 1.75cf 33hz, it's more like 1.63cf (after sub disp) and right about 35.5hz I have champ pro below yours,, it sounds good plays pretty deep., it would sound louder with more port area guys here were right about that.. how much power are u running to it? 12" SINGLE 1.75 Cu.Ft. I know it's **** close that's what I been saying, it's as good as u can get under $100.. even some of these nice boxes still have smaller port and tuning is what they say.. sub hole on box was small which is great for my sub fit perfect but if u try a big sub I hop u have a roto zip tool or something.. u can see my box in avatar also I put inside pic in my gallery..
heck yeah that's nice.. he just needs 1 smaller, other one like that I saw was 1.3cf which is to small. 1.5-1.7 probably where he needs to be depending on power he has..
they dont really get that loud. A lot of people run those boxes since the place that makes them and sells them is right down the street from me. Smaller prefabs actually got louder with smoother wider bandwidth. These MSW box peaks harder at tuning but not really good for music in general and not that loud in comparison either.
To many factors come into play. Testing would be the only way to know if your own vehicle
