My last speakers (Legacy Plates ls4615) were installed in my car. I'm swapping them out. They have 3 posts on them labeled red white yellow from left to right.

The left speaker had R and W plugged in.

The right speaker had W an Y plugged in.

Is it safe to assume that the W line is negative and the yellow and red are positive terminals?

Please a quick hint so i dont mess things up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Oh the joys of a common ground system. You are correct in your thinking if everything is as you say it is. I would however, highly reccomend moving away from the common ground set up and utilizing an independant ground for your system- basically for ease in future installation as well as compatability issues.

take it easy,
