I would tune a little lower. 32 hz. or 33 hz. IMO. My 8's are tuned to 33 hz. and peak at 31 hz.

I enjoy it. Lots of hours in the day to fill up. I also buy amplifier boards and make little BT stereos if I don’t have a box build to do. Made this little guy with wood from the scrap bin and some 6x9s this week. Runs on 5 lithium 18650 batteries or the 19 volt power supply. My daughters friend is going to use it in his BMW electric I3 instead of trying to put a stereo in it.

Sound is infinite, so there’s always better sounds to be made. Experimenting with sound is so much fun. That 8 is an absolute beefcake.

Staining is a 3 part process. Dark brown first, then pine green, then a light brown to bring The green back down some. It’s too green otherwise.
