I had pierce audio build a sub for me awhile back. I never got the Ts pulled when I first had it built, for whatever reason he just didn’t do it and I didn’t wanna wait when I picked it up. I stopped by a week or two ago to get TS pulled after break in (for sale purposes) and one of my coils read 17 ohms which turned out to just be a faulty terminal and I had him replace my pushies with direct leads. When I went to pick it up he said that my motor is really weak? He offered to recharge it but said it’s unlikely that that’s the issue, and it was probably just not a great motor and that it wasn’t built correctly (or something along those lines). My qts is at a .76 and he couldn’t even pull my BL because no matter how much weight he added to the cone it wouldnt read. Any ideas? Is this normal for these types of motors, or should I ask him to charge it for me anyways?
