RE MT soft parts in HDC3 Motor?

Has anyone heard of doing this? I've got a blown HDC3 and I know of someone that has an 18" basket along with MT soft parts available. I know the 12 spoke basket will bolt right up, and I'm assuming with the MT recone kit it will bolt right up.
