Well bought a truck 3 weeks ago, came out this morning and my cowl panels were missing from under my wipers. So i need a basic alarm. 2 doors and my hood I want wired up with some kind of vibration detection or something. no starter, door locks, power windows, anything like that is needed. its a basic old jacked up pickup truck nothing electric or power in it. Before i put in my sound system i need to make darn sure no one can steal it. So what are good brands\Models to look at for basic alarms that aren't mickey mouse versions but also arent $500 all the bells and whistle versions?
