Replacing Multi-Function Knob

I just picked up a Pioneer DEH-P510UB head unit. It relies heavily upon a single multi-function knob to navigate the unit, from changing radio stations to setting preferences. I don't have overly large hands or anything, but I have a hard time getting a decent grip on it, especially while driving, as it doesn't extend out very much at all. Is there any way to replace the knob on the unit with a larger, more easily gripped knob?
