They were a sharp sub that hit hard af.That last pic of the sub... man RF's were sexy!
Sub is complete. After soldering was complete this evening I tested it for 30 minutes at 30-50 hz. No weird noises other problems. Dust cap is glued on and curing. I will say that the 450w that I have the amp setup at for my little xd didn't move this monster much lol.
Come on bro, quit teasing! When is the big reveal? Should maybe do it Jenner style! They were a sharp sub that hit hard af.

Thanks bro. I looked at their current lines really closely. They probably sound good and hit decent but they look very gimmicky to me. The magnets are small, they cover them with all that plastic to make it look big. They are not the same company they were when I bought these back in the day that's for sure.Nice project! Came out great!
Man I wanted some of the Power HX2's when I was young back then. I don't know why RF didn't keep making similar subs. I'm sure some of their modern subs perform decent enough, but they should have kept at least this line.
I'm glad you guys talked me into rebuilding it. After looking it over i realize I couldn't have bought anything close without spending a lot of money. These were some of my favorites back in the day and I’m glad you rebuilt it. Sometimes you can’t get more sexy than old school.
