OK guys so reconing is something I do for fun. Well I acquired a tantric HDD top and to no real surprise being some of the last work Murphy turned put the soft parts are offset on the frame. My questions are for the vet reconers and salvage guys. What do you use if anything to get the spiders loose from the landing? The recone is fresh softies and I would like to get them off safely and reuse them. I have read acetone but in the past it doesn't soften the ca glue faster then the acetone can evaporate. Any ideas?

No mention. It was a top assembly murphy sent and never sent him the motor to it. I'm not messed up about it with the shady **** murphy was doing I believe the other party didn't know. We are working that out. I did manage to free the soft parts last night with a chisel and a little elbow grease. I think I can salvage them as long as the cone, spider, and coil aren't offset.

My 1964 fender vibroverb. It’s a tube amp for guitar. It has broken many times. But it is a serviceable amp. I can fix it.
