Do I need to run a bassblocker or xover in line with each speaker to ensure they dont blow? Im talking about the mids not tweets. Ive heard on the tweets they need one, but what about the mids? Im wanting to add 4 to my car and trying to figure out if I need anything else. I wanna run them active...

HI, i work with many of those seleniums drivers here in argentina, which model exactly do you have?.

Of course you need '' bass blocker'' but depends the model at which frequency they start to work. Maybe if you have in your amp a good HFP you dont need those, and if you dont have you can put smal caps to filter the bass.
