So I just bought a mini amp. I plan on using the speaker level input. So I have to splice rcas and run my factory wire into the rcas. So how do they connect? Because I know the negative and positive shouldn't touch. Is that why one part of the rca wire is shielded and one isn't? The amp is a kenwood kac-m1804

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
