Subs burning???

Alpine doesn't make those recone parts other companies do. Check with djdillion and a couple others. There is a place a lot of people use for recone jobs. Grimjoww is another one that knows where to get them.

Alpine doesnt sell parts to fix the sub woofer =[
They do not and it used to be they used a rather unique coil design in those. You may be able to find parts to fit that motor but they will not perform close enough to the OEM that you could run them together.

If you bought them from a big enough retailer you might be able to return them and get them warrantied.

I got these in the garage. But i need to get some new ones. I just burned them up quick. I think i gave it to much oomph

Would this mean the sub is out of commission? (Scratching when pushing on the speaker) or can i run it still?
Its not 100% out of commission, but its not going to last much longer, and you will know when they fail,or until the amp goes into protect. I wouldnt run them any longer and keep the amp safe to use on another good sub or a pair.

Ive been trying to find a decent video. But idk. It seems like the voice coil is either burnt up or out of place. Idk. Im going to dive into some more videos or something and try to fix this. I dont have income atm and need me some boom when using the car to run my errands

I had a pair of Kicker 10s catch fire in the rear of my CRV banging the Chit out of them going down the freeway @75mph.(I was actually trying to cook them). The statement I am trying to make is that there is a possibility the sub or subs could catch fire, and if in trunk space, it may be a little late by the time its noticed.

Honestly thinking of just putting my bose speakers from my other car and the shallow 10" woofer in the car in driving now. The bose system in my infiniti sounds nice and itz just stock with factory amp

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

That’s the little single 6.5 inch enclosure. The Savard did just as well as the RDS. These subs do well in ported or 6th orders but not as well...
