so, while perusing SSA, i stumbled across these PRV Audio 6MR500 and they remind me of the old 90s Focal 6.5s. Anyone have any experience with them?

wasnt sure if the multiple magnet copying focals design was a gimmick or if they actually performed decently. It would be nice for someone whose heard them to offer their thoughts too, not trying to discount your reply tho

Loud, no detail. Can get peaky if installed without good processing capabilities. Heard a prv setup and they guy just had a 5 band eq, active on the amps. not impressed.

They sound fine to me, but I am not really a heavy SQ guy by any means. I just needed it to be loud, and that's what they did.
