Twisted sounds new amp 2.8kw (dynos included)

We carry Twisted on SSA.
I meant brick and mortar... And I know exactly what you guys sell.. I bought my elite 370a for my Sierra from your company... I should get a fat discount on an ascendant audio sub for all the plugging and recommending/ business I've been pointing to ssa

Thank you. Next time you do, give me a heads up and I will put a little thank you on your SSA Store account in the form of SSA Store credit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

looks like a variant of the populous 3500 board

That's how the new 3500 looks, plus a fan.https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpt1/v/t1.0-9/12509384_456372257884780_7292150937513077117_n.jpg?oh=5810989755b1fb74a928c475c34e3e8e&oe=573C01F6

For the price tag I'd rather go with the FSD 5k... but that's just me. FSD has been great about answering all of my questions as well.

Droppnhertz loves the twisted amps. They say best bang for the buck. They sold 100 this year with no issues so far. They are korean made so that's much better than chinese junk.

So 24 output transistors equals how much power then?
they range from 100-800 and even more. no way to tell without knowing the part number on the transistor. also there have two types in the output and a different type in the switching supply which are independent from each other. get s pic of all of them.

it's easier to measure the diameter of the transformers, how many windings, etc to determine max power output.. to many variables with the transistors and the topology of the amp

curious who told you that? i can tell you how much output with the transistors as long as you have the model/sn.. its directly related to the amps output.

in most good designs the transformers should able to handle 2x-3x the power for inrush current..

no one told me that, it's pretty well a fact that you wont get more output of the amplifier than the power transformers are capable of providing. output transistors can give you a good idea of the output, but that doesnt mean anything in a full bridge amplifier

full bridge needs basically double the transistors but its pretty easy to tell full bridge from half. one needs filters on the output section one doesn't

i know when i designed a circuit for power distribution i use a transformer that can handle ruffly 200% of the continuous load.. depending on what im designing it for.

for example if i'm using it in a lighting circuit not point becasue the lights have ballast transformers and start capacitors to keep power-factor/ripple down. on the other had lets say a machine shop where they aren't using soft starts. you can run into power factor and ripple problems.. while its true that lates and mills ARE VFDs still you can have several machines operating at once and starting another and loading it down can cause sag..

SO that being said any amp i will design/have built you better believe that the transformers will be-able with withstanding much more current that rated for continuous duty cycle..

I was able to log in fine, using Chrome if that helps. I don't know anything about the product at all, just found the info and shared the love. :)

Brother in law has some of their 8’s and they are little beasts. Typical cookie cutter product that performs as it should.
