What is a Good Alt

Im not sure what to get, id like 220A+

I dont really want to spend over 500, i got a qoute from Mechman for 450. What about EA, Ohio Generator, DBelectrical, DC power, etc. What would you suggest? I like the price of the DB electrical alt but is it going to do the job?

Heard good and bad (more bad) on the DBelectrical. I'd do the Mechman. Never heard anything bad about them.

I emailed Ohio generator to see what they can do. Im leaning toward the mechman as well since they would use a Larger case alt and make a bracket to bolt into place.

Mechman seems to be right on par with other high end alt companies from my experience. "You get what you pay for" applies... Better to do it right the first time around if you have the cash.
