What year? I'v got a 99 eldo which was known for one of the better stock systems they did in cadillacs. My bose is actually fairly loud for a stock radio, I certainly can't talk over it at all at higher volumes, even to myself. SQ is kinda crappy, IMO. Bass had a 1 note wonder quality to it unless you turn it down quite a bit and while there is a lot of midbass, it's very highly eq'ed and unnatural, even if a bit fun at times. You can feel a kickdrum in your chest once in a while though. Certainly a liveable stock stereo, especially with the dsp. The driver seat setting actually gives you a defined center stage, even if it's still too low (cd player height). For a stock radio pretty good, but you can tell bose eqe'd the crap out of it.

x2.... you would have to spend some serious money to out do the Bose system in my boys Seville. Some stock systems are pretty **** decnet.
