whats the best head unit

i want a good in-dash dvd/mp3 player. i know a little bit about them but not alot. i would prefer a 7 inch screen or bigger. i also have subs so which has the best sub control. i was lookin at alpine. but any suggestions?

I don't know anything about flip-out dvd players but I know enough to stay away from those brands

I've got a Jensen VM9311TS and it's not a bad unit. Don't get me wrong, it's no AVIC-2 or anything but it's a decent unit for the price.
