Bout to get this tc 3hp built and still haven't fully decided how to place sub and port. I have a reg cab 01 silverado, 5spd. My DD 3500 I had sub up and port rear and reversed port to front of cab at bottom (console box). Sounded good given the amount of power it had. Box was a little high on tuning @ 40ish hz. The tc I'm building will be tuned to 36hz with aeros. First time building box with aeros.

Any input or suggestions?! Fire away bass heads //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm a single cab guy, and in my opinion it should be a 10 in either a fourth or sixth order, way better sound and the sub isn't in a dangerous place or in view of thieves. Takes a while to build and design, but completely worth the effort.

Most I could do comfortably is 3.11 cubes net. Like I said I'm new to the aero and octo scene. Always ran ported //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Here's some old enclosure photos from my '89 chevy. These are from when I first got it and started with a pair of DD2510s on a AQ2200. I ended up getting it up to 152.9dB USACi and 145s sealed on a pair of 12"s and an RD D5. We did a lot of USACi in my area back in the day.

that looks like some crazy fab work in the bed. was it trophy truck?

Get pics of the CSCStang enclosure tomorrow. Its a simple birch ported at 35hz with aero port using 4 Tang Band 6.5" 1139si neos. sounds good and system blends well. Using Clif Designs 6.5" separates in kick panels, soundstream EQ and epicenter powered by an Ample Audio 551. Pops truck, original owner bought brand new in 1977.

Hell yea, beautiful truck man. System sounds rather pleasing lol. I got CSCStang working on an aero design for me. I been talking to him all week about box. Gonna have to go console unless I find a flip down jump seat or folding console lid for truck. Mine is the stationary jump seat lol.

Leather bench seat here so had to go behind seat. 65 yr old man, stereo is perfect. Punchy bass and midbas with smooth highs. not done yet still some tuning to do after the 270 amp Mechman went in.
